Dive deep into the most prolific database language: SQL. Work with Microsoft SQL Server to organize data into well-structured and easily retrievable data formats. This course includes installation steps for installing a text editor, installing MAMP or XAMPP (or equivalent) and creating a MySql Database warehouse. This course includes work on various case studies that allow the application of SQL and database concepts to applied. This course will overviewtopics such as SQL basics, data wrangling, SQL analysis, AB testing, distributed computing using Apache Spark, SQL data exploration using datasets, and data engineering with SQL. This course provides an overview of single table queries and the basic syntax of the SQL language. Case studies and or course activities will include relational databases – EMR or customer transaction because these types of data are more prevalent. Additionally, NoSQL will be addressed due to the demand of the workforce.
